TARDIS adventures
1. Jamie’s paralysis was a good plot twist - shame that twist just sort of dissolved into thin air at the end…?! Maybe I just like it too much when the heroes are in a pinch.
2. (Foreigner alert ahead) In the script of episode six of The Web of Fear, it was helpfully added that the Doctor played “Skye Boat Song” while waking in the tunnel; googling reveals it’s a Scottish folk song. I first thought this was the result of Jamie having taught the Doctor to play the bagpipes, but actually READING the googlings shows me the song wasn’t written until late 19th century. But - the Doctor playing Scottish songs that Jamie hasn’t even heard before is kind of sweet. :—D
3. Didn’t think I’d find kilts attractive before now, etc etc you know

I bet he wrote it himself. Time Lords are known for documenting everything and since he’s the last he probably felt it his duty to document it. That is probably the only thing in the universe that properly documents what happened to the Time Lords, not a soul in the universe knows what truly happened other than the Doctor, the TARDIS and this book. It probably has what he did to them in horrid detail and he’s more likely than not to read it to himself to remind himself why he’s a monster and a terrible man.
